News from the Alaska Interagency Transition Council

The Alaska Interagency Transition Council (AITC) has been working with the National Technical Assistance Center on Transition (NTACT) to sup-port the work the council does to promote sharing of resources and in-formation around secondary transition services for students with disabili-ties. NTACT is funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) and the Rehabilitation Services Ad-ministration (RSA). Go to NTACT’s website to download evidence-based practices to improve outcomes of students with disabilities including lesson plans to toolkits full of resources for your students. You can sign up for a weekly eBlast that shares resources and webinars in which you can participate. To sign up for eBlast, scroll to the bottom of the first page of NTACT’s webpage and click on the link under “Keep in Touch”. NTACT looks forward to Alaska teachers and VR counselors accessing these products!
