I hope you're staying warm! (I've been blanketing my shivering ponies and fighting off a cold. Quite the storm we had!)
TRAILS on trails every-other-Wednesday walking Challenge is back on track as of January 8 with what should be a relatively easy walk on the Calvin and Coyle trail—see details in the calendar right here: weekly events January 4-11.pdf. If you still want to join the FIRST Walk/Ski/Snowshoe celebration at Eveline State Recreation Site out East End Road, it's been re-scheduled to tomorrow (Saturday, January 4), with guided snowshoeing scheduled for noon. Check the calendar for directions.
And here are a couple of things that didn’t quite fit on this week’s busy calendar: Starting this week, enjoy table top gaming every other Sunday at Homer High School—see the flyer attached to the calendar. Secondly, this Friday you can get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Homer Fire Station—just sign up at https://www.cityofhomer-ak.gov/citymanager/city-facility-tours-jan-feb-and-march-2020-sign-here, and for more information call Rachel Friedlander at 435-3102.
FINALLY, don’t forget you can always support TRAILS by buying TRAILS SWAG at: http://peninsulailc.org/Merchandise.
