Another full week coming up.
Homer Farmers Market celebrates the end of its 20th season with its Annual Harvest Party Potluck starting noon this Saturday. String Alongs will play, and Turkey Raffle tickets will be on sale. HFM expects 300+ for lunch, so bring a dish to share if you can. Although the market officially closes, some vendors will still be selling on Wednesdays and Saturdays through October, so check it out. Lots of other activities this week as well, like a free rabies clinic tomorrow, Sunday’s instruction on how to join COASST, and a special Walk with a Doc to celebrate 2 years of healthy talking and walking in Homer. Get out and enjoy the brisk weather by checking out the new trail starting from the ILC parking lot. And, finally, October 4 is First Friday, so enjoy strolling through Homer’s wonderful galleries!
